YouTube
I recently returned from a history conference at Kirtland, Ohio. It was great; I visited my (4th) great grandfather Isaac Morley's old farm which is open to the public, went to the Kirtland Temple where he worshipped and also saw the following film on Joseph Smith. I am posting the link to the clip since embedding was disabled by request. The link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vv2wNchpWk.
Librarian Trading Cards
I think those are really cool! Of course, to make one of my own I would have to scan my photo and then upload it (unless I went with some online clipart).
New technology
I am really up with website design, etc. However, I need to learn more about ipods, flash drives, etc. I am looking forward to learning and applying what I have learning through Learning 2.0

Another Way of Finding Your Ancestors
I got back from a history conference at Kirtland, Ohio a few weeks ago. I was excited to be there because I knew that my ancestors had lived in Kirtland and surrounding towns. I also went to upper New York state where I followed the trail of other ancestors. I visited a number of cemeteries, looking for their final resting places. The search was both awe inspiring and an adventure. Also, I came up with new information! An example of what you can find on a grave marker is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/oldeastsidr/829567271/.
Hardest and easiest habits of effective learning
The easiest habit listed for me is that of beginning with an end in mind. I always have a lot of projects on the burner that I want to accomplish, many to do with technology and websites. The hardest habit is viewing problems that come along as a challenge. Especially in regard to technology, if I am doing something incorrectly, the program is not going to do what I want it to do if I keep on doing the same thing. So, my goal is to have confidence in myself and view problems as a challenge that can be overcome! And, in the process, I will learn and improve my technology skills.
