Another Way of Finding Your Ancestors

I got back from a history conference at Kirtland, Ohio a few weeks ago. I was excited to be there because I knew that my ancestors had lived in Kirtland and surrounding towns. I also went to upper New York state where I followed the trail of other ancestors. I visited a number of cemeteries, looking for their final resting places.
